OtizmTV is a platform focused on science, art, special education, therapy and autism. It talks with its readers under the editorial principles published on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OtizmTV is a rights-based publisher built on eight years of the Psikolojik Bak\u0131\u015f and @OtizmTV channel archive. These are the principles we work by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our position<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are a Turkish, rights-based publisher in psychology, autism, disability and neurodiversity. We centre neurodivergent voices and we state the evidence level of every claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accuracy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nothing is published without research and confirmed accuracy. Reliability is our first editorial rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evidence ladder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each article carries an evidence-level badge. Lived experience is a different kind of knowledge, not a lower rung.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Systematic reviews or several large, well-designed studies agree.<\/p><\/div><\/li>

  2. B<\/span>

    Moderate evidence<\/h3>

    Good studies point the same way, but more research is needed.<\/p><\/div><\/li>

    Limited evidence<\/h3>

    Small or early studies. Treat as a signal, not a conclusion.<\/p><\/div><\/li>

  4. D<\/span>

    Expert opinion<\/h3>

    Clinical or academic experience, not yet tested in research.<\/p><\/div><\/li>

    Lived experience<\/h3>

    First-person knowledge from autistic and neurodivergent people. A different kind of knowledge, not a lower rung.<\/p><\/div><\/li>

    What we never produce<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Unsupported “treatments” such as chelation, MMS or miracle diets<\/li>\n\n
    • The “rescued child” story<\/li>\n\n
    • Footage of people in crisis, or content framed around pity<\/li>\n\n
    • Private content shared without consent<\/li>\n\n
    • Paid advertising for therapies, centres or products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Protocol for contested topics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      On debates such as ABA and the neurodiversity movement, research evidence and the critique of the autistic community get equal weight. We debate claims, not people. When there is no consensus, we say so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Corrections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      When we get something wrong, a correction note is pinned to the top of the article within 48 hours and stays visible. We respect the right of reply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Consent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Guests and the people we feature give written consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and we hide identities on request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Respect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      We do not demean anyone for who they are. We protect children, disabled people and minorities, and we do not publish hateful, violent or harmful content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Personal rights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      We respect human dignity and rights, and we avoid insults, degrading remarks or defamation of people and organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Impartiality and diversity of views<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      We present several viewpoints, especially neurodiversity perspectives, and we welcome contributions from readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Editorial honesty and independence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
